Sewing Circle ~
I've been dreaming about putting together a monthly sewing circle, and finally, here it is, times two! Starting next month, there will be First Monday morning and Third Wednesday afternoon sewing circles held at various locations around Bend and Sisters. These are free, drop-in gatherings where you can spend your morning or afternoon working on your latest project in the company of fellow sewers. Share inspiration, encouragement and fellowship. The One-day sewing workshop includes discussion on the physics of sewing, stitches, techniques, garment construction, and touches on stenciling, beading, and embroidery. Work with me to create your customized DIY kit. You'll choose from six beautiful projects.

The workshop will be held 9:30-4:00 at Sey Lah Vie Studio, 207 North Fir, Suite A-3, Sisters, Oregon. The day includes instruction, complete Alabama Chanin organic cotton DIY kit, organic cotton canvas tote bag, moleskin journal, pencil, sewing sampler, lunch, materials, stories and laughter. The cost is $190. Since your kit is customized specifically for you, please allow us sufficient time and order by October 2nd. Otherwise, I will have an assortment of pre-selected kits available to choose from the morning of class. There are a lot of choices, and I would love to help you decide, so please email me with any questions.
